Training & Development
We support our experts and executives by helping them attend individual further training sessions. These are selected during staff assessment one-on-ones and we actively support the process. An extensive, superior list of training opportunities serves as the basis for the decisions.
Vacation & Fitness
Each staff member starts with 25 days’ vacation a year. The longer you are with us, the more days are added. Thus, the vacation entitlement rises to 27 after one year, and after four years to 30 days. And we prioritize a work-life balance even outside vacation time. Hence for many years we have had an agreement with Medius Fitness in Tegernsee and Schliersee, and our staff members thus enjoy preferential terms there.
Staff restaurant 24/7
We firmly believe in our staff’s health. Healthy, nutritious, and tasty meals are the very precondition for this. In our staff restaurant, the mundWERK, there are three meals served a day, with fruit, vegetables, brain food, superfood, and warm meat or veggie dishes.
Staff apartments
We are glad to assist in house-hunting in and around the region. To make your start on our team easier, in your first few months with us you can stay in our inexpensive, fully furnished staff quarters on the lakeside – and get to know a few colleagues at the same time.
Other benefits
Staff members and up to three accompanying persons get a 50% discount on all our F&B services. We also enable our staff members and their families and friends to get to know our hotel product from the guest’s viewpoint – at a special rate of €189 per night per room. In order to recharge your batteries, you can also enjoy using our spa products at a 30% discount and the wellness services at 50% off.
Digital timekeeping
There are often long hours when you work in a hotel – and we can’t always avoid that, either. However, we can guarantee that every hour of overtime over and above the 39-hour working week is recorded by the timekeeping system and then offset with free time.
Celebrating together
Every department regularly embarks on little trips together by way of team-building – and to get to know one another better outside work hours. We also invite all the staff to a big party once or twice a year.
Inhouse experience
In order to be able to give our guests an unforgettable holiday with us, each new staff member is entitled to be a guest at the hotel at some point during their first six months with us – free of charge. Together with one accompanying person, they can take this great opportunity to enjoy one overnight stay using all the spa and F&B services and experiencing the many different sides to DAS TEGERNSEE.
